Service Description

How the throwing taster sessions work:- They are held at my studio in central St Albans: I’ll do a demo, then be close on hand with tips and help. Typically, you will make 4-8 pots during the time, and can choose 4 pots for glazing. The price is the same for 1 or 2 – as I do it on a 1:2:1 basis. My studio is small thus limited to individuals or small group / family sessions. Glazing requires drying, bisque & glaze firing and typically takes 4 weeks. All creations will be dishwasher safe. I will contact you when your creations are ready for collection. Additional firing is possible - £6 per pot (up to 500g). You can decide on the day. On the day:- * Parking is in Walton street (no permits required on a Saturday, or Fridays: 11:30-13:30 or after 2:30pm). We are at the end of Walton street (RHS corner with Sandpit Lane) AL1 4DQ * My studio is round the back – please come to back door. Please ignore any building work. * Best to have short nails, and clothes you are happy to get muddy/ apron; Also remove all rings bracelets & watches if possible.
