Service Description

Family throwing: Up to 4 people (at least 1 adult); includes 4 fired pots How the throwing taster sessions work:- They are held at my studio in central St Albans: I’ll do a demo, then be close on hand with tips and help. We will all work on the same wheel and each person will get at least 1 turn. Some may get more than 1 turn.... Choose up to 4 pots for glazing. Additional firing is possible - £6 per pot (up to 500g). You can decide on the day. Glazing requires drying, bisque & glaze firing and typically takes 4 weeks. All creations will be dishwasher safe. I will contact you when your creations are ready for collection. On the day:- * Parking is in Walton street (no permits required on a Saturday, or Fridays: 11:30-13:30 or after 2:30pm). We are at the end of Walton street (RHS corner with Sandpit Lane) AL1 4DQ * Best to have short nails, and clothes you are happy to get muddy/ apron; Also remove all rings bracelets & watches if possible.
